RAMON Viva, spokesperson of mayoralty candidate Monico Puentevella, categorically denied any involvement in the candidacy of Julius Sayson.
"I was surprised that I was accused of allegedly escorting Julius Sayson in one of the hotels here. I categorically deny it. I am not that dumb to do it. They just want to spread such allegation because they want to associate that to Monico. I believe that all these things are fabricated stories," he said.
He added how can he be involved with a Julius Sayson when he currently is under medication.
Viva has been undergoing kidney dialysis since January. He said he could not afford to engage in such stressful act given his health condition.
“If one is handling Julius Sayson, one should work hard for it, stay late and think more of it which he could hardly do now,” he said.
He also said that every two to three days, he visits the hospital for check-up and medication.
"I just appeal to the real culprits to spare me. I understand what they were doing because I have been into this job. Stop linking me to it because that is not true and unfair for my family," he said.
Monico earlier said that he will take the level of campaign in a professional manner, adding they will only present their agenda and discuss legitimate issues and platform of government.
"I don't think Monico needs such kind of gimmick because true to his word, he is complying his promise to the people. Let other government officials engage in name calling but not with the new Monico," Viva said.
