Guv submits P2-B 2013 budget

NEGROS Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. submitted a proposed budget pegged at P2,020,399,000 for 2013 to the Provincial Board for its approval.
Marañon said the budget proposal for 2013 is higher by about P200 million from this year's budget which is P1.8 billion.
He said the budget is the first time for Negros Occidental because of the increase of its Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA).
The sources of fund for the proposed budget will be P 1.8-billion IRA.
The Provincial Board is set to deliberate on the proposed budget during its regular session this week or the next session. (TDE)
