COUNCILOR Em Ang asked the Department of Public Services (DPS) to place adequate garbage bins and portalets in the different places during the MassKara Festival 2012 celebration.

She said it is expected that, during the event, people will indiscriminately throw their garbage during street parties and other grand celebrations.

She said there is a need to place garbage bins in significant places in order to control or minimized littering and instill cleanliness and discipline to the people. (Carla N. Canet)
