THE revamp is all over, especially in government agencies that have direct participation in the coming May 13 elections.
Lawyer Jesie Suarez, provincial Comelec supervisor, said he is expecting relief next week and that the reshuffling of all Comelec officers in the entire province is also expected very soon.
Suarez pointed out the "No Status Quo" order of Comelec means that no one among the Comelec officers will be spared from the reshuffling which is a usual practice of the Comelec every time there is an incoming election.
However, Suarez said that the usual reshuffling only affected Comelec officers in the towns and cities but, this time, the provincial Comelec supervisors and even the regional directors are included.
He also confirmed that Bacolod City Comelec officer Atty. Mavil Majarucon Sia will also be included in the revamp.
There are talks that Suarez will be assigned to the Iloilo Provincial Comelec office.
Suarez said that were ordered by Comelec-National Office to submit the reshuffling plan three months ago and they are just waiting for its implementation. (Teresa D. Ellera)
