THE Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) is ready to assign additional police personnel at the Bacolod Hall of Justice to secure the area and to avoid the shooting incident like what happened in Cebu City last Tuesday.
BCPO officer-in-charge Senior Superintendent Edgardo Ordaniel said Hall of Justice personnel should be vigilant and always inspect the persons who always come in and out of said building.
Last Tuesday, a Canadian national shot dead a doctor and a lawyer and injured a fiscal inside the Cebu City's Palace of Justice.
The suspect was attending a hearing at the Municipal Trial Court of Cities Branch 6 when he shot the victims.
Ordaniel also encouraged the business establishments in Bacolod City to always check their costumers to determine if they are carrying firearms to avoid any untoward incidents.
