Rerouting for Bacolaodiat set

THE Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO) will implement a traffic rerouting during the Bacolaodiat Festival celebration on February 7-10.
BTAO head Police Chief Inspector Luisito Acebuche said Tuesday that on February 8 and 9, they will implement a traffic rerouting along Lacson Street during the Bacolaodiat Festival celebration.
He said the initial closure of roads will start at 2 p.m. At 3 p.m., there will be a total closure of roads along Lacson Street, especially from Cottage Road going to Ramos Street.
Acebuche said vehicles from north to south, upon reaching 27th Streets, will take right turn going to Gatuslao Street all the way going to the downtown area.
He said vehicles from the downtown area will also take Burgos Street going to Shopping, then Hilado Street to BS Aquino Drive and right turn to Ramos Street all the way on their destinations.
He said 83 traffic enforcers will be assigned in different areas of Lacson Street to ensure the smooth flow of traffic.
Acebuche appealed to motorists to avoid passing Lacson Street during the Bacolaodiat celebration to avoid any inconvenience.
He said that on February 10, they will also implement a rerouting at the Circumferential Road during the closure program of Bacolaodiat Festival at the New Government Center around 8 p.m.
The vehicles from north to south will take right turn to Lopue's East going to Las Palmas Street, he added.
