NATIONALIST People’s Coalition (NPC) founder Eduardo Cojuangco Jr. reassured his unwavering support to gubernatorial candidate Vice Governor Genaro Alvarez, runningmate former San Carlos Mayor Eugenio Lacson and all other bets of the party in Negros Occidental.

In a meeting with the NPC provincial candidates in Hacienda Balbina in Pontevedra town last Saturday, Cojuangco dispelled rumors that he was having second thoughts in his support to Alvarez.

Alvarez said he is thankful for the support and confidence in him by Cojuangco.

Also present in the meeting were NPC Provincial Chair Kabankalan City Mayor Isidro Zayco, Liberal Party Provincial chairman Representative Abelardo Albee Benitez (3rd district), with whom the NPC has a strong partnership, and Representative Mercedes Alvarez (6th district).
