BACOLOD City Lone District Representative Anthony Rolando Golez Jr. and groups of students from various schools gathered for a flash mob at the Capitol park on Saturday.
A flash mob is a group of people gathered at a place for a performance.
Golez gathered some youths to dance Gangnam Style as popularized by South Korean musician PSY. He said a flash mob is one way to have fun and exercise at the same time.
He thought of having this activity for the youth after the Jam Step 2 12-12 succeeded in promoting healthy lifestyle and gathered 87,000 plus students and residents of Bacolod.
“Everybody is welcome to join the flash mob. This is just a spontaneous gathering of people to have a dance exercise and party,” he said.
