PRESIDENT Noynoy Aquino, who also chairs the Liberal Party (LP), will be coming to Bacolod City for the opening salvo of LP’s senatorial line-up here.
Assistant Secretary Rolando Cusio of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Political Affairs on Tuesday confirmed Aquino’s visit during the opening of the LP provincial headquarters in Mandalangan, Bacolod City.
Local leaders and members of the LP in Negros and Bacolod City attended the opening of the yellow headquarters Tuesday.
Cusio pointed out that the President’s visit here in Bacolod City is based on his promise that he will be actively campaigning for the whole slate of the LP in key cities nationwide.
He said they see the victory of the full senatorial slate of the LP because they are banking on the integrity of the President and that they are also banking on the votes of the intellectual voters in the country.
The LP held its opening salvo in Plaza Miranda Tuesday while the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) held its opening salvo in Cebu. (TDE)
