MEMBERS of the ruling Liberal Party (LP) coalition Team PNoy are coming today, Friday, to introduce their programs and platform of government through a grand rally at the Bacolod City Public Plaza.
Lightning rallies will also be held in Talisay City Public Plaza, Silay City Public Plaza and Victorias City Public Plaza, said LP provincial chair Representative Albee Benitez (3rd District, Negros Occidental).
Team PNoy senatorial bets who are coming today are Cynthia Villar, Sonny Angara, Loren Legarda, Jamby Madrigal, Koko Pimentel, Antonio Trillanes, Riza Hontiveros-Baraquil and Jun Magsaysay. Brian Poe will represent his mom Grace Poe while Kimi Aquino will represent her husband Bam Aquino.
Villar has confirmed in a radio interview that the coalition of the Liberal Party, the Nacionalista Party where she belongs, and the Nationalist People's Coalition are still intact.
The sortie will proceed to the Talisay City Public Plaza for a lightning rally at 9:30 a.m., Silay City Public Plaza at 10:30 a.m., and to the Victorias City Public Plaza as well.
Benitez urges Negrenses to listen to the candidates during rallies. "The people are given the free hand, so they have to listen to the candidates so that they can make a better choice," he said.
He said the LP's platform of government is simply anchored on the social reform agenda of the administration of President Benigno Aquino III.
Policemen will be assigned at the Bacolod City Public Plaza today to ensure the peace and order during the Team PNoy senatorial bets’ rally.
Leonardia said that a crowd of more than 10,000 will attend the grand rally of Team PNoy at the Bacolod Public plaza this afternoon. (CNC/TDE)
