Napolcom conducts inspection at Noppo

AS PART of the annual inspection, management audit and monitoring of Philippine National Police (PNP) units and personnel in Negros Occidental, a team from the National Police Commission (Napolcom) regional office arrived at Camp Alfredo Montelibano in Bacolod City for the six-week inspection.
Police Chief Inspector Rico Santotome Jr., public information officer of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial office (Noppo), said the Napolcom inspectors were led by Regional Director Marte Palomar and lawyer Jerome Asuga.
Police Senior Superintendent Celestino Guara Jr. officer-in-charge of Noppo, held an entrance briefing.
The inspection started Friday and will last until April 15. It will cover the 12 city and 19 municipal police stations in Negros Occidental, including the 6th Regional Public safety Battalion, the Bacolod City Police Office, as well as Noppo’s public safety company and maneuver platoons in the six districts of Negros Occidental.
Set to be assessed are the accomplishment of Noppo up to the police station level, the implementation of various directives from higher headquarters, as well as from the Napolcom.
The inspection includes the proper wearing of uniform, accounting of issued firearms and other government property, vehicles as well as equipment. (TDE)
