AT LEAST 300 residents in Bacolod City have completed their training on call center, cooking and bar tending.
Mayor Evelio Leonardia, with Secretary to the Mayor Moises Dela Cruz and lawyer John N. Orola Jr., graced the graduation of these trainees held at the Bacolod government center on Sunday.
The training is part of the employment program of Mayor Leonardia that is handled by the Public Employment and Services Office.
Orola said this can help the college level, high school graduate and out-of-school youth find a means of employment following their completion of the basic training on those fields.
He said Mayor Leonardia provided this opportunity to help them hone knowledge and skills on bar tending, cooking and the work of call center agents, adding the activity is the first step for those who wanted to land a job and earn a living. (CNC)
