Retired teacher nabbed for ‘rape’-A A +A

A RETIRED school teacher with pending arrest warrant for rape was nabbed by policemen in his residence at Azucena Street, Purok Paghidaet, Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City, Wednesday afternoon.
Marcos Templado, 71, was arrested around 4 p.m. by virtue of an arrest warrant for two counts of rape issued by Judge Philadelfa Pagapong-Agraviador, of the Regional Trial Court Branch 43, Bacolod City.
He was charged for allegedly molesting a 4-year-old victim.
Bail for Templado’s temporary freedom is set at P120,000, Police Station 4 Chief Adonis Rosales said.
Meanwhile, in a radio interview Thursday, Templado denied having committed the crime.
In another report, a theft suspect with pending arrest warrant was collared by Regional Intelligence Unit-6 operatives at Purok Malipayon, Barangay 35, Bacolod City around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Rommel Saquin, of the said barangay, was apprehended by virtue of an arrest warrant for theft issued by Judge Eliseo Geolingo of the Regional Trial Court Branch 45, Bacolod City who set his bail at P10,000, Police Officer 3 Joshua Barile said.
