BFP needs 36 new firemen-A A +A

THE Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Western Visayas is now set to hire an additional of 36 personnel for the rank of Fire Officer 1 (FO1), Regional chief directorial staff Jerry Candido said on Monday.
The BFP is now lack of personnel, and we are now accepting qualified applicants in Western Visayas for FO1 rank, Candido said.
He said the applicants should be a Filipino citizen; a graduate of a minimum of four years bachelor’s degree; board passer or civil service professional passer; 21 to 30 years of age; and at least 5’4” for males and 5’2” for females.
The applicants should also give more emphasis to professional drivers with restriction codes (2 and 3), and must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed for cause from previous employment, Candido added.
He claimed the applicants must not have been convicted by final judgment or an offense or crime involving moral turpitude.
Candido cited that all qualified applicants may submit an application letter addressed to BFP Regional Director Senior Supt. Eleuterio Iturriaga with a duly accomplished personal data sheet in three original copies; eligibility or report rating; transcript of record and diploma, birth certificate all authenticated; marriage contract, if married; clearances, original copy; and medical certificate.
Candido said the applicants will submit their requirements to the Secretariat, Regional Placement and Selection Board, BFP Regional Headquarters, Administration Division, for initial screening on November 8.
