THE Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) has expressed support to the new director of Western Visayas Police Regional Office, Chief Supt. Josephus Angan.
Supt. Jefferson Descallar, deputy for operation of BCPO, said on Friday he believes Angan will continue the projects of former director Chief Supt. Agrimero Cruz Jr.
“I presume that the new director will continue the project of the former director concentrating on the integrated transformation program of the Philippine National Police,” Descallar said.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) Transformation 2016 Roadmap is the blueprint for the PNP Integrated Transformation Program-Performance Governance System, a long-term moral recovery plan for the police force.
Angan held a command conference on Friday in Iloilo City attended by all city and provincial police directors in Western Visayas.
Angan, a former director of Capiz Provincial Police Office, is a member of the Philippine Military Academy Class 1984.
Senior Supt. Edgardo Ordaniel, acting director of BCPO, who was in Iloilo City yesterday, said the relief of Cruz is part of his promotion, a move normal among officials of PNP.
The order stated that Cruz will be reassigned to the Office of the Chief PNP.
