Still ‘zero crime’ during Pacquiao-Bradley clash-A A +A
Monday, April 14, 2014
ONCE again, the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) did not receive a report of any crime incident while the match between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradely was ongoing Sunday.
Senior Superintendent Larry Decena, BCPO officer-in-charge, said practically Bacolod residents were glued to their television set watching the fight.
“It’s peaceful because even the would-be criminals were also concentrating in front of television to witness the victory of Pacquiao,” Decena added.
The City Government provided free live telecast at the People’s House (Bacolod Government Center), Bays Center, and Barangays Villamonte and Estefania.
He said in every viewing center, 16 policemen were assigned to secure the area. (MAP)
