Cuajao said the MDRRMO of Pontevedra was informed around 11 a.m. Tuesday that a capsized pump boat was seen along the coastline.
The rescued fishermen were brought to the Pontevedra Health Center and are now in stable condition.
Meanwhile, the Himamaylan City Risk Reduction and Management Office said Mila Magbanua reported to their office her two children went fishing at about 4 a.m. on Monday but failed to return until Tuesday.
She said the two brothers were on board a blue and white vessel.
Moreover, Cuajao said that although there is no storm signal in Negros Occidental, fishermen should still refrain from fishing activities.
