A RESIDENT of Valencia, Negros Oriental yielded an estimated P75,000 worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or "shabu" during a police operation over the weekend.
Medino Mendoza, 40, of Purok 2, Barangay Pulangbato was nabbed by in the said barangay after police seized from him two sachets of shabu worth P75,000 and the P500 marked money.
Also arrested last June 17 were Ernesto Rous II, 27, of Valencia town and Josephine Retada, 41, of Dumaguete City, after they sold shabu to a police officer for P300.
Also recovered from them were two more sachets of shabu worth P2,000 and the P300 marked money.
On the same day, Joachim Aguit, 51, of Purok 6, Barangay Magatas, Sibulan town was arrested in the said barangay after he yielded a sachet of shabu worth P3,000 and the P300 marked money.
The following day, Brix Monte, 19 and Steve Urzoa, 19, both residents of Tanjay City, were apprehended by police at Barangay 4 for sale and possession of two sachets of shabu worth P1,500 and the P500 marked money.
Also arrested last June 18 were Jhonrey Monion, 31, and Sheldon Indo, 41, both residents of Bacong town after they yielded three sachets of shabu and the P300 marked money.
In Canlaon City, Joselito Vecino, 27, of Barangay Linothangan was arrested in a drug bust on the same day, with a recovery of three sachets, P300 marked money, and P40 cash.
