PHILIPPINE National Police (PNP) Chief Ronald dela Rosa will be in Negros Occidental on Friday, June 23, to lead the recognition rites of the PNP Regional Training Center at Manuel Y. Torres Sorts Center in Bago City.
He will give an inspirational message to the police trainees.
It is not yet certain if Dela Rosa will also hold a command conference with the policemen of Negros Island Region.
Senior Superintendent Rodolfo Castil Jr., officer-in-charge of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, said security at the venue will be tight, “but not as tight that it will disrupt movement of motorists.”
He said there will be no re-routing.
Castil also said that maximum police personnel will be deployed on the ground, with the augmentation from the Philippine Army.
This is Dela Rosa’s second visit to the province after he assumed the PNP leadership last year.
