Market supervisor shot in Bais City, Negros Oriental

A MARKET supervisor of Bais City, Negros Oriental was shot by two unidentified men on a motorcycle at Sitio San Jose, Barangay II, on Wednesday night, August 9.

Police identified the victim as Marissa Silva, 58, of Barangay Lo-oc.

Investigation showed that Silva was with her husband on their way home around 9:40 p.m. when the assailants followed them. The victim's husband was unharmed.

Silva sustained three gunshot wounds and was brought to a hospital. She is being guarded by policemen in the hospital.

Police recovered from the scene three fired bullets and a deformed fired slug of .45 caliber pistol. (GYM)
