Thursday, August 17, 2017

A MALE teenager was arrested after he yielded an estimated P110,000 worth of “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) in a drug bust at Purok Sampaguita, Barangay Calindagan, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental Tuesday night.

The name of the 17-year-old suspect was withheld.

He sold shabu to a police agent for P1,000. Operatives confiscated from him a sachet of shabu weighing 10 grams.

In Negros Occidental, two brothers were arrested for sale and possession of illegal drugs while their younger sibling managed to escape in a drug bust at Barangay 21, Victorias City last Monday.

Collared by police were Celso Titong, 42, a drug surrenderer, and Jessie Titong, 34, a newly-identified drug personality.

Recovered from Titong brothers were 10 sachets of shabu worth P30,000, drug paraphernalia, the P300 marked money, and P430 cash.

Also arrested on Monday was newly-identified drug suspect Hendrito Abona, 26, of Barangay Old Poblacion, Escalante City.

Police seized from him three sachets of shabu worth P900, and the P500 marked money.
