THE Police Station 4 is investigating the reported robbery or hold-up incident near an automated teller machine (ATM) in Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City Monday morning, August 28.
Chief Inspector Ritchie Gohee, head of Police Station 4, said they will ask the bank for a copy of the footage from a closed circuit television (CCTV) camera to confirm if such incident indeed took place.
Police responded after a concerned citizen posted on social media a video showing blood stains on the floor near the ATM.
Gohee said they checked all four nearby hospitals to verify if a victim of stabbing or shooting incident was confined, but the result was negative.
The security guard of a dormitory beside the bank said he did not hear anything that may indicate a commotion between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m., Gohee said.
“We will know if something happened through the CCTV,” he added. (GYM)
