Tuesday, September 26, 2017

A MAN drowned in a river at Pook Village in Hinobaan town, Negros Occidental Sunday, September 24.

Police identified the victim as Greg Librea, 57, of the said village.

Initial investigation showed the victim’s son, before leaving the house, warned his father not to go out for a swim as he was not in good physical condition after suffering a mild stroke.

The victim’s body was found floating in the river.

On Saturday, two teenage girls also drowned in a swamp in Barangay Camindangan, Sipalay City.

The minors harvested peanuts then went for a swim. (MPE)
