Palace tells PNP to act on Hinigaran drug ops

THE Office of the President through the Presidential Complaint Center directed the Philippine National Police (PNP) to act on the alleged continued operation of an alleged drug lord in Hinigaran, Negros Occidental.

In an order dated September 7, Director Jaime Llaguno Mabilin of the Presidential Complaint Center asked Director Camilo Pancratius Cascolan, head of PNP Directorate for Operations, to address and take appropriate action consistent with the existing laws, rules, and regulations relative to the report.

Malacañang’s order is in response to the letter-complaint of Task Force Kasanag through its founder and president John Chiong.

Chiong said he based his complaint on the information of Hinigaran Mayor Jose Nadie Arceo who asked for assistance to address the problem.
