Thursday, February 15, 2018

THE Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) received eight .9mm Tavor assault rifles from the Philippine National Police headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City last week.

These rifles were coursed through Police Regional Office-Western Visayas.

The newly-acquired firearms are intended for the capability enhancement of the Special Weapons and Tactics of BCPO.

Senior Inspector Armilyn Vargas, public information officer of BCPO, said the blessing of the firearms on Wednesday was officiated by Monsignor Victorino Rivas at the San Antonio Abad Parish.

It was witnessed by Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo, officer-in-charge of BCPO, and Superintendent Victorino Romanillos, deputy city director for administration of BCPO.
