TWO men were killed while a woman was wounded after they were shot inside a cockpit at Barangay 7Concepcion in Talisay City, Negros Occidental Sunday afternoon.
Police identified the fatalities as Isagani Dalisay, 62, and Jesrel Tarrasuna, 29, both residents of the said village.
Wounded was Maricel Ferrer, 35, of Barangay Mandalagan, Bacolod City.
Investigation showed Tarrasuna had a heated argument with suspect Jojo Panes of Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City which resulted in a fistfight around 4 p.m.
Panes's companion Noel Padol of Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City, allegedly drew his .45 caliber pistol and fired at Tarrasuna.
Dalisay and Ferrer, who were also inside the venue, were hit by stray bullets.
All three victims were brought to a hospital, but Tarrasuna and Dalisay did not make it alive. The two suspects escaped.
Recovered from the scene were three fired bullets of .45 caliber pistol.
Authorities eyed grudge as the motive.
Panes surrendered to the police Monday morning.
Panes, in a media interview, said he did not shoot Tarrasuna and the two other victims.
He will be subjected to a paraffin test.
