PRESIDENT Benigno Aquino III's scheduled visit to the province on November 3 is postponed anew.

Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. confirmed this Tuesday, saying there is still no definite reason for the postponement.

President Aquino's visit here was originally scheduled on October 22 but was moved to November 3.

The President is supposed to hold a dialogue with the different sectors here to get the consensus on the programs that his administration would pursue in Negros Occidental and Bacolod City.

Marañon said Malacañang has not yet set the date when the President could make it to the province after the postponement.

The President is now in Vietnam for the 17th Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit in Hanoi.

During the summit, the President is expected to push for stronger protection of Filipino migrant workers’ rights.
