Guv to report his first 100 days

NEGROS Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. is set to deliver his first 100 days report on October 28 before the mayors and other officials in the province at Talisay City.
The governor's report coincides with the seminar of all mayors in the province facilitated by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Marañon, who is serving his first term as governor of the province, is expected to highlight the distribution of the Universal Health cards for indigents throughout the province in partnership with the congressmen in the six districts.
He is also expected to focus on the purchase of cows from New Zealand and Saranggani for the Animal Dispersal and fattening Program and Dairy Farming in line with his administration's food security program.
Marañon has also initiated the renovation of some hospitals under the management of the Provincial Government as well as other programs under the “Negros First” slogan that he envisions to be implemented during his three-year term.
