Taiwan official arrives today

THE representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Taiwan, Republic of China will arrive in Bacolod City Tuesday for the 150th Charter Anniversary of Murcia.
Donald C.T. Lee's will be welcomed by Murcia Mayor Andrew Montelibano and Silay Mayor Oti Montelibano at the Silay-Bacolod Airport.
Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. will host a lunch for the Taiwan official. After the lunch, Lee will proceed to Binitin, Murcia to lead the Monks of the Congregation of St. John the Baptist in the Lei Ming Yuan Memorial at the Lux Mundi Demo Farm.
A testimonial dinner for Lee is also slated at L'Fisher Hotel at 7 p.m.
On December 8, the official will attend the fiesta activities in Murcia, support the proposed sisterhood agreement between Murcia and Taichung City in Taiwan, and turn over a refurbished ambulance to the Municipal Government.
He will also play a round of golf at the Bacolod Golf and Country Club in Binitin before returning to Manila. (Teresa Ellera-Dulla)
