Groups join 100th Women's Day rally
Wednesday, March 9, 2011 - 03:30 a.m.MEMBERS of Gabriela-Negros, Karapatan-Negros, Bayan-Negros, League of Filipino Students (LFS), Anakbayan Party and other progressive organizations staged a rally to celebrate the International Working Women's Day at Bacolod Public Plaza on Tuesday.
The celebration is a nationwide action to commemorate the struggle and sacrifices of women during the 18th century industrial revolution in Europe, United States of America and other part of western countries where women led the revolution and fight for equal rights.
Cafgu trainee dies from 'rigid training'

The governor’s order came a day after Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo ordered the Western Visayas police to hunt down Ayalin, who went on a shooting spree inside the council hall of Kapitan Ramon village in Silay City.
Cities league to appeal Supreme Court ruling on 16 new cities
