Maguate is new Toboso chief

INSPECTOR Mateo Maguate, erstwhile chief of Escalante City police and Hinoba-an police station, has been designated as Toboso police station chief effective November 6.

Maguate replaces outgoing police chief Senior Inspector Nestor Tuadles, said Chief Inspector Regidor Alvarado of the Negros Occidental Police Office (Noppo) administrative branch.

Tuadles will be temporarily assigned at Noppo headquarters in Bacolod City.

Noppo deputy provincial director for administration Flomar Natuel joined Alvarado during a simple turn-over rites on Nov. 5 in Toboso.

On the other hand, Noppo director Manuel Felix stressed that more reshuffling of police chiefs will take effect this month as part of the normal relief and reassignment of overstaying local police chiefs and in preparation for the 2010 general elections.
