A MARRIED resident of Barangay Camugao in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental is facing qualified theft charge after Bacolod Police operatives successfully recovered from his possessions several alleged stolen Wednesday afternoon.
Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO)-Investigation Detective Management Section (IDMS) Theft and Robbery Section collared Edgar Aplaon at 2 p.m. of Wednesday after one Jose Florante Damasco of Prk. Langis in Barangay Banago, Bacolod City complained that the suspect stole his belongings.

PO3 Aries Escarda and PO1 Eduardo Berio recovered from Aplaon's possessions a DVD Movie Theater with Sub Woofer; DVD Viverth made in Germany; Voltage Regulator 1KB; Diagonal Cutter; One pair of Black Shoes made in Italy; One Big brief case and a Volt Ohm meter, which owned by the complainant.
The items were returned to its owner as charge for theft is now being filed against Aplaon.
Meanwhile, a 37-year-old woman was arrested by BCPO-City Anti Illegal Drugs-Special Operations Task Group for allege selling of illegal drugs.
Police nabbed Joy Rivera of Purok Amor, Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City during a buy-bust operation last Wednesday afternoon.
Recovered from Rivera's possessions two improvised tooter, three disposable lighters, an improvised bamboo clip, and sachets believed to be used for packing of illegal drugs.
Police said Rivera handed to a police poseur buyer a plastic sachet containing suspected shabu in exchanged for P200 used as marked money.
Rivera is presently jailed at BCPO-CAID-SOTG lockup cell and is facing charges for violation of the Republic Act (R.A) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
