Montelibano said MBCCI will air these concerns today at the ongoing 35th Philippine Business Conference and Exposition (PBC & E) in Manila Hotel to the heads of the Department of Energy, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Agriculture and Department of Public works and Highways.
He added they will also present two resolutions regarding these concerns to President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo who will be the guest of honor and keynote speaker of the PBC & E today.
He added these two resolutions have already been approved by the Visayas Chamber during the Visayas Area Business Conference in Iloilo City last July.
Meanwhile, the Visayas Chamber, including MBCCI, yesterday donated P550,000 to the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Livelihood Development Fund to be given to the victims of typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng in Manila and other parts of Luzon.
Aside from Montelibano, other MBCCI delegates are Jose Ma. Zayco—vice president for External Affairs; Frank Carbon—vice president for Internal Affairs; and Edward Gasambelo and Ernie Pestaño—directors. (PR)
