The workshop was aimed at improving skills and enhancing media's role for advocating RP-NFP.
Another media advocacy group from Luzon and Mindanao provinces as counterpart was also formed in response to the challenge of heightening population issue and awareness.
A brainchild of Popcom, the advocacy group with media practitioners as partners, is a nationwide undertaking reaching every person in the entire archipelago.
On November 24-29, Popcom is holding a National Population Congress with its theme "Sa Tamang Agwat ng Panganganak, Buhay ay Aangat."
