Before his Bacolod sortie, however, Lacson will tour the neighboring districts in southern Negros and the central areas.

He will stay three days for his Negros tour campaign, which will cap in northern areas of the province, on the 12th.

Running under Liberal Party, Lacson was branded as a political candidate with a “heart” and “apostolic”.

Proposing to champion the people’s welfare, education, justice system, livelihood, and family cause, Lacson is known to people as a defender of good governance, fighter of corruption, and the human rights.

An intellectual Negrosanon breed, Lacson finished law at the University of the Philippines. He attended the Haggai Leadership Institute in Singapore and was secretary-general of the Ang Kapatiran Political Party. He was also a book author of “12 Little Things every Filipino Can Do to Help Our Country.”

For the Negrense people, he vowed to pour in assistance to the province once elected to the Senate.

He said he would initiate for the establishment of a candy factory in Negros that will give rise to the sugar industry and to the people’s source of livelihood.

“There’s a lot of hope for the Negrense people. Together, let us break political dynasty in the country so that transparency in governance can be achieved. And with that, the Filipino people would finally recover the corrupted resources of the country,” said Lacson.
