Piso para sa Pasig, Piso-Piso para sa Sum-ag Highway

MOTORISTS and drivers who pass along the Sum-ag highway of the city called Bacolod are truly confused why the Sum-ag highway going south of Bacolod has remained a crater highway and abortion road for more than two years already.
***
So many persons have told this writer why this is happening to Bacolod City. The highways going north and east have already been well paved since the past administration. But until today, the local DPWH has not been given the blessings to asphalt properly this Sum-ag highway.

Before this column was written, three private drivers have again wondered why Sum-ag is a neglected highway under the lone district of Bacolod. Are there no funds for the asphalting of the highway? It does not need to be cemented because it takes so long a time and heavy vehicular traffic is chaotic in the area.

Because of this sad experience by southern motorists, a group of drivers suggested that Bacoleños and southerners should organize a “Piso-Piso para sa Sum-ag Highway” campaign. It’s a shame to hear those kinds of comments from the electorate. Nakakahiya! Hope the leaders will do something about this dismay by the electorate.

I wish to thank media guy Manny Canto of Skycable’s In Depth program over On TV 12 of George Sanchez for allowing me to be his co-host in his program. I find Manny’s program to be low-key and informative. That is why I got interested to be a co-host. Today, OnTV12 is now on the race as one of the favourite channels to watch. And DOTCom of Dot Soliven and Jun delos Reyes is also in the same OnTV12. May your tribe increase in George’s channel, guys.
