KEEN observers told this writer that there is a new scheme for the vehicular traffic that SM City Bacolod has designed in their new construction. They said that the way it looks, the mall operators have designed their traffic system to suit their interests.

With many comments coming in, one observer expressed that the public utility jeepneys will be rerouted to turn right to the Manokan Country road (what the street name is, we could not recall) and turn left to enter the mall terminal then out again on the same road and back to turn right to Rizal street.
***
Another observer said that the original loading and unloading system where all jeepneys load and unload at Rizal Street is just the best and most practical. He does not see any rationale why the local government allowed such new devise so that all jeepneys are obliged to enter the mall property.

In all fairness, what must always be just is the one that is generally fair and square. Surely with this new traffic scheme, the customers of Manokan Country will get irritated because of the traffic snarl that will happen in that Manokan road. And nobody knows what is next.
***
That is up to the local government officials and the mall officials on how to take care of the complaints of the general public and the other small businesses that are affected like Manokan Country. There is Mall Manager George Jardiolin to ably handle this situation. He is a good guy and a pleasant personality to deal with.

Suma-ag Highway is now amazing. But it remains amusing. Drivers are complaining why there is still a few meters that is left unrepaired and unpaved between the bridge and the new asphalt pavement. Crazy really that is how to describe those responsible for this mess. Try to drive in the area and see for yourself. Are the government officials and DPWH people blind on this, asked a resident of Sum-ag who drives day in day out in the area on his way to work in Mansilingan.
