In Saturday’s nightcap, UNO-R A - Davies Philippines defeated New Negros Coliseum 89-74.
New Negros Coliseum surprised UNO-R as they took a 20-13 lead in the opening quarter. However, the NNC offense sputtered in the 2ndquarter due to UNO-R’s full court man-to-man defense allowed it to grab the lead at the half 37-27.
NNC was able to recover in the 3rd quarter behind Elben Diaz’s 8 points, but UNO-R still remained on top 60-52, as Mark Ramos delivered the same output for Davies.
White de los Santos and Irvin De La Peña combined to rally NNC in the 4th but NNC could not stop the lead ballooning to double digit as the Davies trio of Mark Ramos with10 points, Stefano Ayuco with 3 triples and Cedric Eslabon’s 8 points kept NNC at bay.

President’s Gym extended the lead in the 3rdcanto with Kevin Villafranca hitting 10 points, as Allure DM’s offense continued to rely its offense down low but the entry passes did not come easy, as the press of USLS delayed the frontcourt attack of the Bobcats.

Bat-og scored 19 points, Laureño had 16 points, Ritchie Militante and Ren Ren Lacson chipped in 8 points each while Philip Famucol delivered 7 points.
