Hanah jins bag golds in Milo Little Olympics-A A +A

MAINSTAYS of Hanah Taekwondo gallantly kicked their way to capture gold medals in the just-concluded 2013 Visayas Milo Little Olympics at the Abellana Sports Center, Cebu City.
Deb Matthew Daclan of Living Stone International School, Jan Mikael Demonteverde (St. Joseph-La Salle) and Arielle Legaspi (NOHS) are mentored by Vic Feria.
Daclan, a current Philippine Team member and reigning 2013 National Best Player awardee, bested other competitors in the lightweight juniors’ category as Demonteverde and Legaspi prevailed in the bantamweight junior men and middleweight junior women, respectively.
The team, likewise, captured silver medals in the elementary girls courtesy of Nel Trisha Serimogan (Talisay South Elem School) and Alyssa Trisha Hanaya (OBCA-Murcia), while Marcus Ernesto Hinojas, also of Living Stone and last year’s National Best Player, settled bronze in the elementary boys division alongside Caroline Dean Espinosa (St. John’s Institute) in the lightweight junior women.
Playing as of press time are Levi Michael Deriada (LCC-Bacolod) for the featherweight junior men, and Anton Guinanao (SJI) in the welterweight junior men.
This is Hanah gym’s latest achievement after capturing the overall championship title of the 11th Manapla Taekwondo Championships held recently at the Northland Resort Hotel-Event Center in Manapla town last August 11 while had also made a remarkable achievement early last month when they, together with AMTC-NTU Tigers, won the Cadet Boys and Grade School Girls divisions.
