10 Hanah jins to join Smart MVP Best of the Best-A A +A

HANAH Taekwondo Team will send 10 jins to Manila this week to compete in the Smart MVP Best of the Best Taekwondo Championships on September 8 at the SM Mall of Asia.
Leading the Vic Feria-mentored team is bemedalled Deb Matthew Daclan (Living Stone International School), Arielle Legaspi (Negros Occidental High School), Jan Mickael Demonteverde (St. Joseph School-La Salle), Keith Smart Docado (Manapla National High School), Levi Michael Deriada (La Consolacion-Bacolod), Caroline Dean Espinosa (St. John's Institute), Lester Paolo Escasinas (Murcia National High School), Stephen Serimogan and Nel Trisha Serimogan (Talisay South Elem School), and Allysa Trisha Hanaya (OBCA Murcia).
This weekend tournament is one of the three biggest competitions Hanah Taekwondo team had and will be seeing action for the last three months.
Hanah alongside AMTC-NTU Tigers Negros First Taekwondo Team succeeded in July during the 37th Smart National Taekwondo Championships at Rizal Memorial Coliseum in Manila.
Last month, mainstays of Hanah team scored gold medals during the 2013 Visayas Milo Little Olympics at the Abellana Sports Center in Cebu City.
Daclan, a current Philippine Team member and reigning 2013 National Best Player awardee, bested other competitors in the lightweight juniors' category. Demonteverde and Legaspi prevailed in the bantamweight junior men and middleweight junior women, respectively. (HGD)
