BACOLOD Tay Tung High School is heavily favored against Trinity Christian School at 8:40 a.m. at Po Hang gym as Milo BEST passerelle provincial eliminations resume today, Saturday.
The Thunderbolts, winner over St. John's Institute and University of St. La Salle-A, has added USLS-B to its conquest with a 93-52 victory.
Sam Josef Belangel drained 23 points, John Marie Palacios has 20, John Vergara drilled in 14 and Seth Sangco added 10 as the Tay Tung boys continued to dominate its neighbors.
La Salle withstood BTTHS in the first canto 15-18 but was limited to a low three points in the next as Belangel scored 16 markers of the Thunderbolts' 26 for a 44-18 lead. Tay Tung put the game behind reach as Vergara scattered 10 points in the third for a 72-31 advantage.
The Stingers got 17 from Jason Biaco and a combined 20-point by Gatuslao-Arceo-Cabalfin trio.
SJI-A and USLS-A precede at 7:30 a.m. in the SBP while tomorrow (Sunday), the younger Falcons take on BTTHS SBP at 7:30 a.m.; USLS-A & B collide at 8:40 a.m., and TCS passerelle tests USLS-B at 9:50 a.m.
