FilOil grants support as UNIGAMES delegates arrive tomorrow-A A +A

DELEGATES taking part in the 18th Fil-Oil UniGames will start arriving tomorrow in time for the highlights of this year’s 34th MassKara Festival and 75th Charter Anniversary as athletes always do.
The week-long sports competition on October 20-28 at the University of St. La Salle is expected to draw thousands of athletes from 49 universities and colleges in the country.
Schools competing in 13 sports events are Ateneo de Manila University, Adamson University, Ateneo de Davao University, San Beda College, Cor Jesu College-Davao City, Jose Maria College (Davao City), Lyceum of the Philippines, John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University, De La Salle-College of St. Benilde, De LA Salle University-Dasmarinas, De La Salle University-Manila.
Far Eastern University, Foundation University, Hercor College, Holy Cross of Davao College, Jose Rizal University, Naga College Foundation, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Rizal Technological University, St. Louis University-Baguio City, University of Mindanao, University of Sto. Tomas, University of the Philippines-Diliman, Central Philippine University.
Colegio de la Purisima, Father Saturnino Urios University, Filamer Christian University, Iloilo Doctor’s College, Central Philippine State University-San Carlos, Holy Angel University, National University, Southwestern University, St. Francis of Assisi, University of San Carlos.
University of Northern Philippines, University of San Agustin-Iloilo City, University of San Jose Recoletos, University of Immaculate Concepcion, University of Visayas, and Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan.
Local schools include West Negros University, Riverside College, University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, and VMA Global College.
The 13 sports include athletics, badminton, basketball, chess, football, karatedo, lawn tennis, sepak takraw, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, volleyball and beach volleyball.
UniGames Chairman Bro. Felipe Belleza, FSC disclosed that FilOil pledged to support the annual event in yearly basis. FilOil granted P850,000 after the MOA signing.
