67th PAL Interclub tees off at Marapara

HUNDREDS of top golfers across the country converge at the Negros Occidental Golf and Country Club (NOGCC) in Barangay Bata, Bacolod City for the 67th PAL Interclub Golf Tournament 2014 ceremonial tee off.

Hosted last by the “City of Smiles” in 2010, the country’s longest national team golf championship, will again test the best golf courses Negros Occidental could offer to the top players in the senior’s division, men’s division, the media, and the sponsors’ tournaments.

The senior’s division will officially start on February 20 at NOGCC and the Bacolod Golf and Country Club (BGCC).

The awards night will be on February 23 followed by the tee off of the men’s division at the NOGCC on February 24. The two-day media tournament is set on February 24 and 25 at the BGCC.

The four-day men’s division will start on February 26 and will run until March 1 simultaneously at the NOGCC and BGCC.

The sponsors’ tournament will be played on March 1 at the NOGCC followed by the men’s division awards night.

Cebu Country Club hosted the prestigious golf tournament last year. (HGD)
