FOURTEEN teams are expected to attend the final meeting of Basketball Coaches Association of Negros (BCAN) on February 26 at 5:30 p.m. at Apollo Restaurant Shopping in Bacolod City.

March 1 is the tentative date for opening of the 40Up and 50Up categories, BCAN president Bobby Tee announced Saturday.

Eight teams have confirmed to join the 40Up division while the six-team 50Up field will be completed just in time for the opening at West Negros University gym.

Registration fee is pegged at P8,000 for a single round robin elimination, quarterfinal, semis and final rounds to be covered by a three-man referee team every game.

So far confirmed teams are 40 Plus AC of Judge Anastacio Rufon, Basketball Unified Sports Group, Homesite Basketball Organization of Tony Belonio and Buddy Ferrer, Alijis Basketball Association of Bobby Regalado, and Iloilo Pros.

Earlier at 3:30 p.m. members of BCAN will likewise meet and plan for the second age- group summer camp next month tentatively set at St. John's Institute activity center. (HGD)
