BACOLOD'S Ceres-La Salle FC tries to duplicate its victory against Philippine Navy tonight at the start of the second round in the 2nd Division of the United Football League at the Emperador Stadium in Taguig City.

With the addition of its newly-acquired members, Ceres FC aims to continue its winning streak and keep the top spot in the division.

Ceres blanked the Navy during their first encounter, four-nil behind the goals from Hwa Seo Park (43’), Jin Ho Kim (49’), Joshua Beloya (53’) and Kyum Son Cho (72’).

However, Beloya will miss tonight’s match as he is still nursing a right ankle injury he suffered during their match against the Navy in January.

Meanwhile, the newly-signed members of the Ceres side are expected to further boost the team’s campaign in the ongoing tournament and in the upcoming AFC President’s Cup.

Ceres have signed up San Carlos City native striker Arnie Pasinabo Jr., Fil-Italian twins Marvin Janwer and Marwin Janver Angeles, German-Italian Kevin Umberto Capolei, and Fil-Spanish Carli de Murga.

Ceres- La Salle FC currently enjoys the No.1 position in the 2nd Division with 26 points on 8 wins, a pair of draws and a loss in 11 appearances. (HGD)
