Solid Strikers up by 6 in Challenge Cup trio-A A +A

ESD Solid Strikers grabbed the lead in the rated category of the ongoing Suppliers Challenge Cup 2014 Invitational Trio Bowling Tournament at New Tops Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.
The strikers of Edgar del Rosario managed to collect 5,744 pinfalls after rolling a 976 on Wednesday with lines of 303, 327, 346 in Round 6.
A slim six-pinfall advantage was enough to overtake erstwhile leader Sharp
Team 1 which slipped to second place with 5,738 after rolling a 933.
The boys of Irne Diaz toppled 314, 308, 311 pins in their last outing and are being shadowed by ESD Electronz.
The Pat Mendoza-led Electronz is 11 pinfalls behind at 5,733 good for third after scoring a 966 on a trio of 326, 316,324.
Davies 6 under patriarch Romel Jover kept within striking distance with 5,679 on a 996 (334, 313, 349) while Mulo Aircon of Romulo Ramos stayed visibly not far behind with 5,624 after hitting a 943 (282, 316, 345).
Davies 4 - 5,592; Sharp 2 - 5,536; Silverado - 5,531; KMH/Boysen - 5,509; and RJ Stars - 5,577 complete the rated category.
The non-rated category has now favored Davies 5 supervised by Jover and headed by Edgar Jerez. The Painters, composed of Toto Flores, Marlon Faisan and James Toga, have accumulated 5,747 pinfalls hitting a 1,049 high on a remarkable 368, 368, 313 output.
Rounding up the seven-team division are FRM/Sharp with 5,671; Canvil Knights, 5,647; Candles Alimon RMED, 5,469; MB/PDI/PF, 5,437; Haier/Sanyo, 5,312; and Special Technic, 5,245.
In the distaff side, Condura 2 of Juliet Regollo solidified its lead with 3,691 as Arlene Memoria, Tess Robles, Precy Pillo, and Cheryl Ramos played consistently.
Other trio ladies squads are Condura 1 & RJ Stars, 3,612; Tiger Eye, 3,503; Pin Pals, 3,488; KMG, 3,339; The Snipers, 3,288; Panasonic, 3,249; and Racahe, 3,221.
