6th Bro. Ceci volleyball continues this weekend

CLASS B Men defending champion APP-Sun.Star debuts at 3:30 p.m. today, Saturday, against the Capitol Employees (1-0) when the 6th Bro. Ceci Cup Volleyball tournament resumes at the University of St. La Salle (USLS) Dizon covered court.

Bacolod Tay Tung High School battles Trinity Christian School in the opening match in Class C Girls division to be followed by Class A Men match between winless teams Central Philippine State University (0-2) and Carlos Hilado Memorial State College-Talisay (0-1).

Afternoon matches in Class A Men will feature sister teams USLS-A (1-0) and USLS-B (2-0) at 1 p.m. followed by University of Negros Occidental- Recoletos and Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod and CPSU versus USLS-A game.

Also playing in Class B Men are Silay City (1-1) and LST Volleyball Club (1-0). USLS Sabado Club (0-1) and Howling Wolves-CHMSC-A (0-1) will try to outsmart each in the women's division.

Sunday's matches include in Class C Girls - Bacolod Tay Tung High School versus St. Joseph's School-La Salle; St. John's Institute vs Livingstone International School; SJS-LS vs. Trinity Christian School;

Class B Women - Capitol Employee vs USLS Sabado Club, and La Carlota City vs Howling Wolves; and Class B Men - La Carlota City vs Capitol Employee, and Silay City vs. APP/Sun.Star.

This annual event, played every weekend, is sponsored by the USLS Varsity Sports Office under Malot Lozada and organized by the Negros Occidental Volleyball Association headed by Roger Banzuela. (HGD)
