Reymund Severino emerged as champion in the Sugarbowl Tenpin Association Inc. (STAI) Youth's Bowling for a Cause Tournament on Sunday when he finished on top with 610 pinfalls at Lopue's East Bowling Center in Bacolod City.
Severino rolled a three-game score of 198-191-221 as he outhit runner-up finishers Pablo Namacpacan by four pfs and Eric Besa by 12.
The champion bowler and Besa have handicap points of 30 per game while Namacpacan has five.
They received their respective trophies and cash prizes from the Youth bowlers in the award rites.
Other top 10 finishers were Tol de Asis, Emmanuel Rebadomia, Silverio Lumactod, Veronica and Peter Ptaytay, Albert Solidarios, Remo Jareño, Henry Toga, Petok Bustamante, Jack Palermo, Kenneth Agujo, and Leehra Jamandre.
Forty-two aspiring tenpin bowlers participated in the Bowling for a Cause event along with members of Monday Bowlers Club and STAI.
The fundraising event was in support of STAI’s Youth players who will join the 2017 Cetba National Bowling Tournament on November 22-26 in Cebu City.
The youth bowlers are Paolo Inocencio, Ken and Nicole Agujo, Andrea Alvizo, Cherry Ng, John Besana, Hans Bona, Marc Linas, Jericho Besa, Kyle Uy, and Alyana Abelada.
