INNER Circle Bowling Association PRES-Manila led in the men’s division as Triple D-Iligan took the No.1 post in the women’s department after three days of competition in the ongoing Kami Mga Hubin-organized National Masskara Open Trio Duckpin Bowling Championship at the Negros Super Lanes in Bacolod City.
The leading team collected a total score of 1,078 pin falls while Triple D posted 1,000 to lead the distaff side.
KMH Lansky-Bacolod occupied the second spot with 1,076 followed by Davies/BCY/Silverado-Bacolod Combined with 1,068.
Rounding out the competitors in the men’s bracket are Beth and Manny – Manila with 1,062; KMH Cosby, 1,062; RN Gesciba, 1,043; BCY La Filipina-Bacolod, 1,043; NSBA Lily-Manila, 1,039; VRF Zamba, 1,032; BCBC/BCY Campuestohan, 1,031; ESD Solid-Bacolod, 1,034; RJJ/SBC, 1,024; Aqua K2C, 1,016; Triple D Davao, 1,015; and Triple D-Iligan, 1,015.
Trailing Triple D-Iligan in the women’s category are Mixed Nuts-Zamba, 993; D’Explorer-Bacolod, 925; Dayle Team, 911; Blue Eagles-Zamba, 909; BCY Salto-Bacolod, 895; NSBA White Lily-Manila, 889; CHvavaco Zamba, 870; RJ Stars/NPBC, 867; ICBA Ladies, 848; ASSFBI Ladies, 843; Akbai Ladies, 838; and Soda Manila, 829.
Binangonan Rizal/Beth and Manny Team registered the team’s highest single with 389 while Triple D-Iligan in the women’s side with 353.
Rommel de Asis of Zamboanga established the men’s triple with 414, and Wilson Casas of KMH-Bacolod in single with 167.
ASSFBI Ladies-Bacolod bet Sylvia del Rosario booked the women’s triple with 407 while Mary Ann Tonogbanua of Triple D-Iligan in single with 155.
The semi-final round of the tournament’s top 30 bowlers in the men’s and women’s divisions will start at 9 a.m. Saturday, September 21, while the semis in the team competition, at 1 p.m.
