6th Lang-ay fest set

BONTOC, Mountain Province – Highland folk here are all set for the 6th staging of the Lang–ay festival for the 43rd foundation day of the province on April 4-9.

Aside from the street dancing parade, the festival will highlight the display of culture of the different municipalities.

The province will also host the joint regional development council and regional peace and order council in time for the festival.

The books “The New Mountain Province” and the “English to Kankanaey Dictionary” will also be launched.

A surgical mission for the indigent patients, an inauguration of the Governor’s Memorial at the provincial plaza and seminars on Climate Change for local farmer are also slated. (Maria Elena Catajan)
